Greater Philadelphia Chapter Members:
The breakfast meeting on July 21 was a great success. Anthony Patillo, Associate Vice President of Sanofi-Aventis, enlightened fifty three chapter members with his presentation on building a world class security program. After the presentation, Mr. Patillo was swarmed with questions and personal introductions; a sign of a truly successful presentation. Mr. Patillo was presented with a token of appreciation from the chapter for sharing his valuable time with us.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday late afternoon August 18, 2010. Please join us for our annual Casual BBQ event at the ACE Conference Center in Lafayette Hill, PA. The executive committee meeting will begin at 3:30 PM, Mini-Seminar will begin at 4:30 PM and cocktails/BBQ at 5:45 PM.
The mini-seminar will be 1 hour long which will qualify for CPE points towards your CPP recertification.
Cost is $30 per person

Topic: Special Event Contingency Planning
Using the Incident Command System as defined in the National Incident Management System; this workshop will look at the elements of an Incident Action Plan for a special event. The session will look at strategic planning considerations when building operational strategies to ensure the development of effective response systems. Planning considerations for events will be explored.
Remember, this is a casual event, so please feel free to dress in business casual.
